Hi, I’m Kellie Shields

Wife, mum, grandmother, and a carer with over 30 years of lived experience. Caring for loved ones has been at the heart of my journey, shaping my deep empathy and understanding of life’s challenges and joys. Whether supporting my family or working with others, I’ve always believed in the power of connection, compassion, and resilience to navigate even the toughest times.

As the founder of Tap and Thrive, I’ve dedicated my career to helping people reduce stress, heal emotionally, and find balance in their lives. I’m a certified EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) practitioner with over 20 years of expertise in Learning and Development. My passion lies in creating training programs and workshops that support not only professional growth but also emotional well-being and resilience—because I know that thriving starts with a healthy and empowered mind.

My work

Through my work, I’ve developed unique EFT-based training modules tailored to diverse groups, including parents, carers, organisations, the yachting industry, and FIFO families. These programs are designed to address the specific challenges each group faces, from managing stress and enhancing emotional resilience to fostering teamwork and mindfulness.

Here’s what I focus on in my work:

Strategic Learning & Development

I develop well-being programs that foster team building and support professional development, creating a positive and cohesive workplace culture aligned with organisational values.

Collaborative Leadership

I partner with management teams to create and implement learning strategies that inspire growth and change.

Innovative Training Solutions

From support for carers to creating inclusive programs for LGBTQ+ communities, I believe in the power of learning to transform lives.

My approach is grounded in authenticity, kindness, and a genuine desire to empower people. Whether I’m working with individuals in one-on-one EFT sessions or leading group workshops, my goal is always the same: to create a space where people feel supported, understood, and equipped to take positive steps forward.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. I’m here to help you or your organisation thrive—one mindful step at a time.

Warmly,
Kellie.
